Most of their content relies on indirect hooks, which don’t help conversions much—even though the app’s name is strong and straightforward.

Still, they’ve nailed a few great text hooks, and the creator does a solid job placing the app name everywhere in the comments.

Another creator, Aly.girltips, uses different hooks but follows the same approach, with no direct app mention or in-video showcase.

Here’s another example: a 350K-view video using a “birthday candle-blowing” shot with a more cinematic, emotional feel. It’s a great way to build atmosphere.

While current revenue estimates seem low, that may be due to a lack of updates or limited conversions from viral views to downloads. The missing piece seems to be a clear call-to-action in videos.

Still, there’s clear potential—“red flag”-style apps continue to perform well across TikTok’s relationship, cheating, and “toxic love” content niches.
