TradingPal is a one‑month‑old app that uses AI to help traders build discipline and improve their trading psychology.
The app generated 5.4M TikTok views across five accounts, all managed by the same creator.
The main account, @gregtradezz, is responsible for 5.1M views.
“Truth about daytrading” → 1.2M views
“day 5 my parents” → 688.5K views
His profile feels more like a personal blog, and the app is only subtly mentioned in his bio, which may be hurting their early downloads.
This is similar to what happened with HerHelp. Back then, Alexis McDonald grew four TikTok accounts to 733M views, but since the content was personal and the product was never integrated, it did not lead to downloads.
The adjustment required is small.
A solo founder has three viable formats on TikTok/IG:
- Informational -> educational content where the product is the natural solution.
- Demo -> faceless tutorials showing what the app actually does.
- Founder‑story -> day‑in‑the‑life content about living or building the problem
The audience exists.
A structural change with effective CTA placement could very quickly shift the download curve.
