A new app hit $100K in monthly revenue and around 100K downloads just 22 days after launching.
TruthSeek, which came out exactly a month ago, helps people find social profiles and public info.
You type in a name, email, or username, and it searches major platforms to show possible matches.
The idea isn’t new.
Apps like Deepsearch AI already pull in over a million downloads each month and around $1M in monthly recurring revenue.
Several other AI people-search apps are doing well too.
What sets TruthSeek apart is the speed.
Right now, it’s growing faster than any other app in the space.
Turning “stalking” into money
They are monetizing the app by locking the core search feature behind a paywall and using auto-renewing subscriptions.
Plans start at $9.99 weekly, $14.99 monthly, or $54.99 for lifetime access.
You type a name, email, or username, it scans, then results are kept behind a subscription.
There’s no real free preview. Everything is kept behind a paywall.

The growth playbook
Their distribution model runs on a faceless TikTok strategy.
They manage 18 accounts that have pulled in about 350 million views — some of which include paid traffic.

Their posting speed is way higher than any competitor, which each account putting out an insane average of 30+ videos a day.
One of them posted 725 videos last week alone, showing just how far they’re willing to push it.

TruthSeek’s team is operating a network of 18 accounts with seemingly random usernames, each one linking back to the app in the bio.

They repeat the same content formula across all their accounts: short, emotional B-roll of someone breaking down, paired with a dramatic story about a relationship or cheating, all tied to “searching a name and finding out X.”
In most videos, the creators are in a car, crying their eyes out over the heartbreak of finding out they’re being cheated on.

Here are some examples:
- “When you search your boyfriend’s name and find out he’s still texting his ex every night.”
- “When you search your boyfriend’s name and discover he’s on FaceTime with his ex at 2 a.m… while you’re sleeping next to him.” (in Spanish)
- “POV: When you type your boyfriend’s name into TruthSeek and discover his secret with your bestfriend“
Clips are constantly recycled, only the hook lines are iterated.
Why it works
No other app posts at this volume. Not in this niche or anywhere else, really.
Most of their videos are average, but putting out hundreds daily creates a solid baseline and leaves room for hits to pop off. It really is a numbers game, and they’re nailing it.
Then, once the viewer is pulled in, the paywall hits right at peak curiosity, pushing them into a trial or subscription right after the hook lands.
That’s how you turn quiet scrolling into money.
