WRizz’s first 14M views & Gen Z’s viral text format

Another Rizz copycat is climbing up the App Store, and it’s moving fast.

Remember Rizz? The first app to really grow in this (weird) sub-niche is now making 600K monthly downloads and $250K monthly recurring revenue. Read about their early strategy here.

WRizz, a more recent competitor, officially launched in June, but they’ve been seeding content on TikTok since April. Seven accounts total.

Only one of them has started posting consistently, and that’s the only one minting real views. One format, one hook, repeated over and over:

“how to rizz on text ????”

That’s it. No fancy edits, no AI filters and not even any wild or controversial story plots. They’re purely capitalizing on unfiltered teenage cringe…flirty texts, over-the-top emojis, and captions straight out of a group chat.

It’s working, and it’s generating some real engagement.

This kind of content is fast to make. You can crank out 10 of these in an hour, post them, and move on. Volume is the strategy if you’re going for something like this.

Their other accounts are testing a second format: photo-based texting slideshows with meme reaction overlays. It’s more visual, slightly more effort, but it’s not landing. Across all those posts, they’ve only pulled in around 29K views total.

So far, it’s clear: the single-hook, single-format grind is what’s actually producing results.

While WRizz is just starting to climb, the originals, Rizz and Plug AI are still sitting comfortably at the top of the App Store charts.

We’re monitoring this niche closely and will keep you posted as it evolves.
