POV Camera AI strategy that got them 67M views

POV Camera does $150k mrr.

11 TikTok accounts. 67M views. 3 hooks.

Repeating the exact same format scheme (full AI avatars).

Never seen anything like this:

POV is an app targeted at weddings and parties to take photos together as “disposable cameras.”

67M views over 11 unbranded accounts.
3.9M bookmarks & 1.2M shares.

They’ve tested and optimized hooks. They use only 3 hooks now in the bulk of their videos:

“I’m still shocked about this unconventional wedding idea.”
“I went to a wedding that people still talk about 9 months later.”
“The entire internet is buzzing about this unconventional wedding.”

In all those cases, they use the same video dozens of times (or slightly edited) and a differently positioned AI avatar.

Then it goes into two scenarios:

1st scenario: The unusual pizza wedding

Starts with a shocking moment — “she ordered pizza” — then leads into “they printed 1,000 QR codes with this app”

2nd scenario: instead of buying 1000 throwaway cameras…

goes straight into promoting POV through storytelling:

They can re-use the same video since the accounts are extremely warmed up and aged (they’ve been posting various formats for almost a year now).

Warning: it will probably not work with your fresh account.

This automated strategy gives them an median day at around 80K views, good days at 200K views and spike days at 2M+ views (that’s their last 30 days for those active accounts):

They’ve been running off with this strategy for a while now.

It might look stupid simple to you, but it’s actually quite advanced, they’ve tested many variations of the stories and hooks and images etc…

Hard to know how much that converts but if they keep repeating, it must be an efficient growth strategy.

Other similar apps like Partiful could easily clone this strategy. And if you manage to create crazy storylines where you can plug your product in the middle or at the end, this might be a good strategy for you too. This strategy is widely used in e-commerce (and was probably “borrowed” from there).
