AI BFF app gets 670K views in first 30 days w/ concept from viral TikTok account

These guys found a 289.5M TikTok page… …and turned the concept into an AI BFF app:

Picture this: You find an extremely viral page running on TikTok for > 4 years now, mental health + cute character concept but… no product or monetization in place… so you decide to replicate it for an app:

Original page tt@itslennnie is a 100% faceless account based on a “blob” character

Posting self-care/self-love content with animations and a children voice narration + subtitles => 289,500,000 total views:

Consistently viral => 50+ videos over 1,000,000 views

Then I found this:

A brand new account w/ a super similar mascot tt@emybff

W/ CTA link in bio to Emy AI BFF Anxiety Pet… an app released one year ago, but that only now started posting on TikTok:

They started posting 1 month ago (march 5th) , consistently at 1x/day

Already at 678,200 views, 45K likes, 3K comments Mixing faceless and face content

Format 1 – 42,600 views:

Funny slideshow presentation being recorded on laptop screen

Hook: “Reasons why you should download our app. By Emy”

Slides : big images and animated emojis, a simple text line in each slide

And feedback has been crazy positive:

“this is how you make an ad , downloading it “

“this convinced me…”

Most viral format (also faceful) :

Format 2 – 334,600 views

And guess what… this is a trend

It’s a spin on the “i’m bored” trend that I sent out on my newsletter earlier this week

Sad expression + text hook

“Please give me your most unhinged anxiety remedy”

Leads viewers straight to comments section w/ FOMO: 2K comments

Very solid strategy, potential to grow in next months

All videos have anxiety theme but range from memes to faceless, plus they know how to farm engagement

Curious to see if they’ll expand to ambassador program (big bet on yes) and how they’ll monetize it
