9 viral formats you’ve missed last week

Enjoy AI Town

This AI virtual world app has quietly reached $200K in monthly recurring revenue over 100K downloads every month.

This week I spotted one of their videos going viral with 5.2M views.

8-sec UGC blurry clip of one one of their creators, with app name included in the hook.

Stickerly

Social media stickers app Stickerly went viral last week, this time on their Brazilian account.

10-second static clip of a text screenshot.

“All roads lead to Rome” and a bunch of Alice’s rabbit stickers. If you peak at the comments you’ll see a lot of people confused. That’s part of the point.

3.2M views, 47K likes, 1.2K comments.

StudyFetch

A “4 hour Harvard Library study with me” vlog just went viral for Study Fetch. We recently covered all about their recent back-to-school spree, so go have a read.

This video goes on for two minutes as we follow the routine of this student. She shows herself studying and using an AI app, which naturally triggers comments.

It reached 1.3M views, 232K likes, 402 comments, 29K saves.

Revyze

Another study app, this time a French neighbor, also pulled off a solid video last week on their main account.

It’s a sped-up motion clip lasting 8 seconds. It got 797K views.

“You understand nothing of the lesson and the teacher speeds up even more (It’s 8:00)”

Couple Joy

Seems like giant app Couple Joy has found the magic of viral slideshows.

This one, posted 6 days ago, reached 541K views.

It’s a 5-slide carousel, with the last two images being app screenshots.

Knowunity

Another study app, and another viral slideshow format.

This one is a list with a curiosity trigger in the hook:

“The toughest university majors you can choose:
10) Psychology”

The goal here is obviously to create debate in the comments’ section.

It got to 535K views, 15K likes, 523 comments.

Jenni

Yesterday we sent a full case study on the return of Jenni AI. If you’ve missed it, catch it here.

Not only are they back full force, they’ve reaped over 15M views in just the last couple of weeks.

This video reached 535K views. It’s a 5-sec UGC close-up, paired with a long hook.

Tone AI

Pilates app Tone AI just pulled 498K views with another video in their same old format.

“that one girl that never liked PE at school”

In the post’s caption she wrote “thx tone ai ????” and it was enough to trigger several comments about the app.

Snap It

Snap It, a selfie light app, just collected 511K views on this video by Mar, a creator who you’ve all seen endless times before if you’re around the consumer app space.

This video is just another variation of the same format they’ve been doing since the start. She takes a selfie in a rather dark environment, switches to the app and shows how the lighting becomes instantly ✨perfect.

“never taking boring photos after this”
