Dupe has pushed another great video that is nearing 1M views, with a direct live demo of the app.
The first frame shows a great face reaction with shakes and movements, combined with a simple, efficient hook, which honestly we didn’t think was still working so well.
In the second frame, the camera quickly turns to the “best friend” (she calls her best friend), although I assume it’s actually her sister (later we see the mother). This adds real-life context and makes the content feel original and authentic.
The third frame shows the bed on the original website, then transitions into a full demo of Dupe, with the URL shown and the entire process displayed.
The final relatability hack is the mom taking baking stuff out of the oven midway through the demo, which adds detail and makes the scene feel even more realistic.
