Buildspace’s founder Farza is now building Tidbit and showing once again how to do build-in-public, this time on TikTok with 4.3M views across 40 videos. Around 16% of signups are coming from there.

This video blew up a week ago – it sits at over 3.5M views.
It uses a trending hook we’ve seen multiple times in other niches but also exactly word-for-word in this dev niche:
“Just noticed my coworker coding
– NO Cursor
– NO Windsurf
…
He’s just sitting there typing code manually and reading documentation.
What a psychopath.”

Interestingly, the same hook was used on StudyTok and pulled over 15M views for Jenni AI.

It shows again that great trending content can cross borders and niches.
They’re also running a good amount of skit-style content, like the video below, which we’ve seen perform well for other prosumer and B2B accounts:
Build-in-public and office/dev content should not be underestimated as a growth driver, especially in the early stage.
