Turbolearn’s 435M Views UGC Empire

What’s ur GPA !?”

That was just last week. 15 million views from one creator account.

Every video was shot on the same day, with the same actors and the same format:

“What’s ur GPA !?”  “What’s ur GPA !?”   “What’s ur GPA !?” — all synced to a catchy viral dance.

Then: “What do you use to study?”

Two people say nothing or just “my notes.” One says “TurboLearn + my notes.”

Same kind of results on Instagram from Nicole’s account. She pulled in a total of 160 million views between both accounts.

And that’s only the beginning. Buckle up. Stay with us. Let’s go:

Over the past 12 months, we tracked more than 101 accounts run by TurboLearn.

When it comes to views, it’s total domination…

…in a niche that runs mostly on organic reach and has tons of strong competitors.

You know us. We saw that.

Let’s break down, format by format, how they’ve kept printing views for the last 12 months.

Oh, and it’s not “just views”… they grew to 4,000,000 users:

I made a website called ???? x Lebron James the professor

They borrowed the “I made a website called…” format from another viral study app and added their own twist: learnwithlebron(.)com

@nicole.studywme

Turning PDFs into brain rot. Also seen elsewhere; this crazy viral Coconote AI video.

The whole thing is polished from start to finish, with a custom landing page and a tool built just for this.

One of their creators (the only white guy in the mix) went viral three times using this format.

@studyingwithsean

Making a “custom” domain or tool is like the SEO-tool version of TikTok marketing. It’s a clever way to hook people with a “cool free thing” and bring them into a funnel.

It feels natural, almost accidental… and turns into a great story, fast.

“Exam ritual” Tarot

You might be wondering how this one video, repeated hundreds of times from late April to mid-May, ended up making over >30 million views.

@studyingwithisabella

And it didn’t just work on this account. It worked on three more.

It worked because it was just before the summer exams. And tapped into everyone who didn’t study enough and wanted to “manifest” good grades.

We’re ready to bet that they’ll do the same again next year at even bigger scale.

Here’s a variation from one of their accounts: “I’m about to manifest the best grades for you so you better be listening”:

@studywithzeus

Faceless and recycled

Back in 2024, they ran a faceless account that mostly reproduced viral content from competitors and successfully rode it to 20 million views, using the “Harvard Professor” angle.

@studywithyeazy

And the same but with fake news + app promo + “best AI study app per category.”

This account appears to have been a third-party hire, paid via CPM. It later transitioned to posting for a different app.

The goon study method

They’re also running another account based on the “goon” study method. The idea pretty much explains itself.

@jomarjournals

The whole point is to reach a totally different crowd. Obviously, the goon method and the “What’s your GPA?” cute dances are aimed at very different people.

How To study Like an Indian Genius

This Indian girl ambassador is posting roleplay-style storytelling videos, where she shares stories that transition into showing how she studies using the app.

One of her biggest hits was: “My friends think I’m cheating because I get really high grades and they say they never see me study (…)” — it pulled in 11 million views.

She’s also used hooks like “How to study like an Indian genius.”

@moushicastudiess

Another one of their accounts,@productivewithjess, run by an Asian creator, used a similar angle: “How to study like an Asian genius”

In-action Storytelling Videos

Lately, they’ve been leaning into a new style: creators eating on camera, with makeup on, starting with a quick story about studying; then shifting into how they actually study using TurboLearn.

@allegralearns

A Little Hack: Re-Upload to Your Main Account

They re-uploaded their top-performing videos to their main Instagram account — and pulled in over 50 million views.

#1 How we have 4.0 GPA’S as Michigan cheerleaders 15.7M views / 2024

#2 brainrot so bad i have to turn my paper into one of those Minecraft parkour vids to understand it 9.8M views / 2024

#3???? What’s your gpa what’s your gpa ???? 9.8M views / 2025

Complete Hook Extraction + Free Dataset

We pulled together a full dataset of all their TikTok videos and hooks.

Here’s what we found:

1 – Most of their top views come from just three trends: “What’s your GPA,” “Harvard professor,” and the no-hashtag “rituals.”

2 – It’s clear that a small group of accounts is driving the majority of the views. This outlier effect shows up both in individual videos and across creator networks.

3 – There are more than 2,300 TikTok videos in total.

And because we know you’re curious, you can check out the full dataset here.

Creating Niche Superstars

Both studywnicole and taae.leee have turned into niche star accounts… into real influencers who only promote one product: Turbo.

After dropping several viral hits, @taae.leee became a creator in his own right at 44k followers. He’s probably working full time in their team now.

He’s posting a mix of casual content and what looks like sponsored stuff for TurboLearn.

They’re building their own in-house system to recruit and train creators:

BTS : How They’re Hiring New Creators

Looks like they’ve brought on two people (some guys called Eric Ouu and Mino Lee) to help build a system that brings in new creators straight from Instagram and TikTok.

They’re building a creator funnel.

All focused on scaling their top-of-funnel.

They’re gearing up to push even harder when study season starts again.

They’re pitching it like this: earn $10,000 a month by posting one video a day. While joining a “creator academy” and an entry job to a future full fledge creator career.

Rumor has it they’ll go as high as $2 CPM, plus a fixed income of $2K/$3K.

The Pyramid…

Their whole 4 million–user product was built through massive UGC marketing.

Here’s the key takeaway: they’ve managed to invent new video formats and trends — then spread them across a network of different accounts.

They’ve mastered and systemized one channel… at serious scale.
