DegeCoin appeared a few days ago with almost no chatter on X or Telegram.
Yet, it sprinted to an $80 million market cap on the back of a perfectly orchestrated TikTok propaganda.
Over 100 accounts posted short videos that framed the coin as “Trump’s next billion-dollar play” and even flashed a fake Coinbase endorsement.

The team sent 2.5 percent of the supply to the wallet tagged “Official Trump Meme Team,” a classic memecoin trick that hints at insider backing without ever claiming it outright.

From there, four TikTok storylines rolled out in parallel.
Several videos opened with the promise that “in sixteen days Trump is going to make millionaires,” announcing this event for July 20, National Moon Day, while a countdown timer ticked away on the project’s site.
These posts claimed Trump’s team was the coin’s top holder and that a single presidential tweet could trigger a 300–400× jump to a billion-dollar valuation.

But the second script flipped the narrative:
“Exposing DegeCoin” videos pretended to be whistle-blowers, pointing to blockchain transactions that supposedly showed Binance and Coinbase founders loading up on the token.

Screenshots of fabricated news articles and quick-cut chart “analysis” lent the illusion of due diligence. To keep the hype going, they paid TikTok crypto personalities like tt@bitcoinbabyyy to sprinkle in rehearsed skepticism.
Meanwhile, 6 new accounts starting posting wall-of-text videos, twice a day; one cracked 1.3 million views.

Another 10 accounts, belonging to a separate network, recycled the official scripts and mixed in hooks such as:
“This is like buying XRP at one cent” or
“I’m so in awe someone turned 12 cents into $43,000 dollars. On the brand new edge coin.”

On top of this, dozens of faceless profiles reposted the best videos, opening with “Day 3 of posting DegeCoin until we become millionaires”

And then, once DegeCoin hit the $80 million ATH,
Someone moved to making a follow-up coin called PegeCoin, this time tying the narrative to Melania Trump.

Which ended up being a rug…

The entire operation was a master class in how to coordinate noise in just a couple of days, proving that well-orchestrated content can still outsmart both algorithms and human caution.
Let’s wait and see what happens on National Moon Day.
