1. Comparison Memes
We’ve recently spotted this astronomy meme, which is an astonishingly easy format that works for almost any niche.
Often creators get stuck thinking memes require wild creativity or following trends everyday, but this format where you start by comparing three (or two, or four, or whatever you want) categories of something can easily be rinsed-and-repeated multiple times a month.

2. Before vs After
This can work for virtually any niche as well. Decide if you’re going for a funny/shocking/inspiring effect and create just two slides for a carousel.
This example is for engineering, but you can apply to whatever audience you’re targeting. AI-generated images sometimes add an extra humorous layer to the post if that’s what you’re going for, plus it makes it incredibly easier to produce at scale.

3. Toxic Motivation
Toxic motivation is trending, and it’s right on time for back-to-school season. Don’t limit yourself thinking this only applies to study apps or AI note takers.
September a 2nd chance at new year’s resolutions, and it’s the perfect timing to insert whatever app you have into people’s quest for becoming the best version of themselves.
Use this aspirational format in whatever way you want to make sure you reach the top of everyone’s FYP.

4. Slideshow Advice
This one might seem obvious, but there’s a trick.
If you’ve been trying to slide into a new niche, chances are you’ve already posted a few random carousels with lists or non-solicited tips about this or that.
Here’s the thing: your hook is 100% of it.
Don’t say: “5 tips for anyone that wants to eat healthy but is too busy”
Say: “I’ve been a dietitian for 8 years and just got fired from my last clinic because they didn’t want me sharing these weight loss secrets to our patients”
Say: “I lost 80 pounds in 9 months while being a single mom, working 3 jobs and on a <40K annual income, here’s what they don’t want you to know”
Assert authority, trigger intrigue.

5. “POV: you’re getting robbed but…”
Record a fake robbery with someone trying to pull your handbag while you hold on to your phone. Now this is where you get creative: choose whatever app feature you wanna promote and use it just like this:
“POV: you’re getting robbed but your bf just updated his lock screen widget status”
“POV: you’re getting robbed but you’re trying to save your ____ streak on [insert app]”
“POV: you’re getting robbed but you just found the perfect [insert item] dupe on ___”
You get the point. Here’s an example.

6. Ideas instead of
Another easy one. All you need is (any) UGC clip so you can overlay a long list hook.
You’re gonna give a list of ideas instead of [insert something].
“7 fall movie ideas instead of rewatching Gilmore Girls for the ninth time”
“10 recipe ideas instead of spending $30 on takeout that won’t even taste good”
Adapt to your niche, include app CTA within the visuals or at some point in the list (best is if you include it in one of the last ones, but not the very last).

7. Lazy PowerPoint
Last but not least, this is for the ones who feel like they’ve tried everything.
Take it down a bit, and try this instead. The idea is to create a very simple, almost child-like PowerPoint presentation convincing viewers of why they should download your app.
Yes, it’s shameless self-promo, but you’d be surprised at how much people find it funny and relatable. It makes you feel like a normal person with a project and a dream.
Try it before you dismiss it.
