The app 818-Never Forget was launched just 79 days ago and is already getting noticed in the productivity space.
It’s still new, and downloads and revenue are still low.
Even so, the app is already ahead of a lot of older competitors in its category.
The app launched a TikTok account in August, posted a few videos, pulled in 47.4K views, and then stopped posting.

The account bio says “Building 818,” but the founder isn’t real…she’s an AI-generated character.
The top-performing format is a headshot-style video.
It opens with a hook, where she talks about building the app. Then it walks through how the app works. It ends with a real clip of a phone on a table getting a call from the app.
Each video uses three simple clips stitched together.
Some of the hooks they use:
“pass you keep dismissing your reminders so you fail? the world’s most advanced reminder app that CALLS you and keeps you accountable to your goals”
“i made an app i’m building an app that calls you when you have an important deadline to you so you don’t forget and you just get reminded by a call…”
“told him i was building a reminder app.”
This video format showed early promise—it was already getting some attention, and one comment even got 79 likes.
They also posted slideshows with images of the AI-made founder and app screenshots.
This kind of post didn’t get much traction.
The most viral one hit 20,247 views, with 96 likes, 7 comments, and 33 bookmarks.
The account used an AI-generated person and hasn’t posted since August, so it was likely just a test run.
They might back later with new accounts and a fresh strategy.
