400K downloads in 30 days with 10/10 hook to CTA funnel

A Dutch studio launched Stats.fm in 2020. It’s been a quiet, steady growth.

Earlier this year, they shifted strategies and began this huge UGC.

The product was already built to be posted and shared, with features like “your music soulmate” and custom dashboards and playlists to share in Insta Stories, but it took this new wave of ambassadors to really kick things off.

In the past 30 days they drove $350K in revenue and about 400K downloads.

28 active ambassador accounts (33 in total) are posting repeatable formats, with over half reporting engagement rates above 12%.

The approach: find a handful of hooks that trigger tagging and saving, write them as scannable lists or confessions, and drop the app naturally in the middle or end of the story.

But that’s their winning hack. App mentions are strategically and meticulously plugged into the hook’s text, in a way that seems 100% organic and coincidental.

One ambassador’s July post crystallized the playbook with a long, list-style hook with an offhand app mention that pulled 1.3M views, 320K likes and over 1.7K comments.
