Last time we checked, 9 months ago, this app went by Gymbros.
They had $19K MRR and 100K monthly downloads.
Now it’s called Liftoff, and they’ve increased their revenue 15 times over.

What happened here?
It seems that they killed it with the organic content and likely pushed some $$$ into ads.

First, they kept growing their biggest account (ig@liftoff_app): This account has 276.9M views.
All they post are these faceless fade-in videos, but now they’re expanding to different bodies/characters.

And on April 15th, Liftoff posted their most viral video yet (same IG Reels account). The stats:
22M views. 457K likes. 2K comments.

And it happened because they started experimenting with hooks that sound and look like memes.
On TikTok, they started an account (@liftoff.22) just for memes.
It’s earned 474K views since early January (growing slower).

While keeping their strongest celebrity ambassador on TikTok, @samsekdailyrank. He posts vlog content of himself and others working out, while directly appealing to Liftoff downloads.

You can track all their accounts on Shortimize.
Whether its memes or ambassador accounts, there’s always a way to stay on the For You page. Check out this account that’s also printing views in a unique way.
